YES. FInally managed to connect to the internet.

Five star oi jiu shi five star. x)

okay, you know how you feel, like the euphoria and all when you know you're going to sit on a double-deck airplane even though the flight's gonna be 14 hours long?

Well, that feeling dissipated one hour into the flight. There isn't any difference between a normal SQ plane anad a double-deck plane only that the plane can accomodate more people, the KrisWorld is so much more faster and there are more choices of movies/music to choose from. And somehow, I think the food is below SQ's normal standard.

I wasn't able to catch any sleep on the plane. Couldn't work out any position to sleep so it was a loooooooooooong flight -.- and tiring.

BUTBUTBUT just seeing Paris alone makes up for that plane ride.

Paris is a really really beautiful city with the intricate architecture which has at the very least 30 years old and at most, 300 years or more. And at night, it was AWESOME, especially during Christmas period. It's like Orchard, only BIGGER, BRIGHTER and the decorations are far nicer. The Eiffel Tower, in the day, is awesome itself but at night, it's like -speechless-. no wonder Paris is such a romantic place.. -HINT HINT-

HAHAHAHA. seriously. it's a really beautiful city. Even just looking at the streets, or corners is beautiful with the leafless trees adding more to the scene, creating nostalgia. (Y)(Y)(Y)

Couldn't get enough of it. but the cons?
1.) IT WAS SO COLD! dunno who scam my feelings, say Paris is only 10 degree Celsius and above when it's actually.. what. -1 degree celsius when we touch down!?!?
And lucky us. We came when the Northen wind hit Paris so that means the wind is always blowing into our faces which makes it even more chilling. But it got better as time goes by.

2.) There are great shopping malls, espcially Lafayette which has the biggest shoe department in the whole world. Majestic in size, generous in choices, grand in decoration but. Look at the price tag and you'll just put it down after converting Euro to SGD. It's super freaking ex. Like x2 of Singapore. Even small souvenirs can cost up to SGD $5, at least please. OMG. My dream of shopping in Paris is shattered.... but actually there also nothing much to shop. Like only suitable for working people.-.- and I've never like shopping that much anyway x) YES I KNOW. So contradicting. okay nvm.

3.) you know what? I suddenly have a much greater appreciation for Singapore service standard. Cause even though Europe's generally damn high-class, the service standard sucks as compared to Singapore. They don't come to you, you go to them. But that's not the bad thing. If you can't make up your mind on which stuff you want, they'll just walk off instead of helping you to choose by telling you the difference between the two products and the pros. SERIOUSLY. and they don't stay patiently and listen to what you're saying. If you're silent for 5 secs, they'll just walk off and wait until you call them again which is like 3 secs later. -.- it was really pekchek for us, being so used to Singapore's service standard. and there's a really vast difference of a 3 star hotel and a 5 star hotel in Europe.

4.) There are so many pickpockets luring around. No joke man. must practically hug your bag to yourself or something cause these pickpockets work as a group and once a member get the "goods", they pass it around to each other in the crowd so even if you discover it 2 seconds or even 1 second later, it's gone. Someone in my tour group was a victim. I was too. Discovered my bag's zip was not zipped which I'm positive was zipped properly but HAHAHA. My bag doesn't have anything valuable in it unless they plan to steal Shui Hu Zhuan to read or wet tissues.

BUT STILL. I really think my trip to Paris is a memorable and a beautiful one. Really (Y) worth tolerating 14 hours of flight, and all the cons.

OH. And the food isn't that good as expected. Only the French cuisine, like the escargot is really (Y) yummy.

It's 6.21 am. People in Singapore are preparing to wake up whereas I'm gonna sleep. HAHA. Definitely going to jetlag when I return to Singapore

11 more days of experiencing the world ;)
